WELCOME TO: Sex Offender Registration

The July 1, 2005 New Mexico Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act requires a person who is a sex offender convicted either in-state or out-of-state and who is employed, enrolled, volunteering or carrying on a vocation at an institution of higher education to register with the registrar of that institution, the local university police department, the county sheriff of the county in which the higher education institution is located and the county sheriff of the county in which the person resides.  Pursuant to the New Mexico Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act, this information will be made available to the New Mexico Department of Public Safety for incorporation into its New Mexico sex offender registration website at http://www.nmsexoffender.dps.state.nm.us
